Our old friend the tea bag just wouldn't cut it for our exquisite line of teas. Our fresh, whole leaves and deliciously exotic herbs need some elbow; it is the unfurling of the tea leaves in hot water that allow for the flavors to come alive, which is part of the reason why our teas taste so wonderfully good. Better yet, when you swirl the stick in your cup, you're giving the leaves even more room to move around, adding to the intensity of the flavors.
Made of aluminum foil, a material used to wrap other delicate foods such as chocolate and organic coffee, our strips have been tested on three continents to be sure that they meet every compliance standard for food safety and do not effect the flavor of the tea in any way. There are no bleaches or adhesives in our packaging either, both of which can be found in regular tea bags, potentially compromising the flavor of the cup.
Just drop the strip in a cup as you would a tea bag. You don't even need a spoon. Just swirl it around as it steeps and we guarantee you'll have one of the best cups of tea you've ever tasted.
You might notice a few bits of leaves or spices escape from the strip and into the plastic seal. Becuase we do not glue or staple our strips, this is unavoidable. But don't worry - there's plenty of the good stuff inside for a delicious cup every time.

Please note that our teas do contain caffiene, which is naturally occurring in Camellia Sinesis, the plant from which tea is made. You can decaffinate your own cup somewhat by steeping the strip in hot water for a minute or so, discarding the tea, and using the same strip in a second cup of hot water. Most the caffeine will have been released in the first minute of brewing and you can enjoy our teas with siginficantly less jitters. This is also helpful for a late night treat!
